How does it work?
Dye-sublimation printing uses heat to transfer dye to the fabric.

Dye-sublimation printers use CMYK colours and a clear over coating. This over coating is a thin laminate protects the print from discoloration, UV light and the air while also rendering it water-resistant.

In dye-sublimation printing dye is heated until it turns into a gas, at which point it diffuses onto the garments and solidifies.
